Do you feel like you are entangled with another person or group? Do you have someone popping into your head repeatedly or violating your energetic boundaries? Having a tough time stepping onto your destiny path and moving in the direction that your Soul wants to go?

We all have a right to sovereignty, but over many lifetimes may become entangled in another's energy. These entanglements and bindings can be from this or past lifetimes.

Personal sovereignty is the right to
direct and control your own life.

Other words and phrases that describe sovereignty include:

  • Free will

  • Freedom

  • Freedom of choice

  • Have control over your life including who you want in it and who you don’t

  • Right to follow your destiny

  • Right to live the life your Soul wants to live

  • Right to align your will with your heart to create the life you desire

  • Spiritual wholeness

What is personal energetic sovereignty?

The lion carries no apology for his power. Sovereignty work reclaims the throne of your own life — releasing that which no longer serves you and bringing back what does.

Outer sovereignty is the expression of your free will in physical reality. Examples of outer sovereignty include saying no to an order or task that violates your ethics or choosing to march in support of your beliefs and values. You may have family or others that try to control your choice via manipulation or control.

The work I do is with inner sovereignty which I refer to as energetic sovereignty. Energetic sovereignty is achieved with spiritual wholeness or being completely filled with your own light. To achieve this state, you will need to clear the energies that are not yours and bring back the essence that is.

What does spiritual wholeness look like?

  • You in your fullest light clear of any intrusions or energies that are not your own

  • Your personal light and power flowing freely through you

  • Embodying your highest self

  • Stepping into your own personal power

Outer vs Inner Sovereignty

Energetic sovereignty can be breached in many ways – for instance, unknowingly with a prayer, a simple agreement or a curse designed to control or influence. Some examples:

  • A parent who prays for you to stay close to them and you feel compelled to live in a part of town that you do not want to live in.

  • A request that you laughingly agree to in a past life that binds you from moving forward in a certain direction (I did this! It was funny and I even laughed at the agreement in that lifetime, but it took me hundreds of years to finally clear it).

  • Vows uttered in the heat of the moment that no longer apply to your life or your Soul’s destiny. Even positive vows can bind you from moving forward in the direction you desire.

  • Curses thrown at you to sway your heart.

  • All of the things others do to control your opinions, thoughts and power.

How does one lose energetic sovereignty?

Ascension Work

Ascension is a tool you can use to identify sovereignty issues. With The Ascension Journey™ you are stepping into a state of empowerment and the energies of your Highest Self. Any bindings and/or missing soul essence will show itself as you do the ascension work. This can be addressed in a shamanic healing session (or, alternatively, if you are a shamanic practitioner, you can do the healing work yourself).

With The Ascension Journey training, we’ll cover the following:

  • The basics of ascension

  • The nature of the soul

  • Meet an ascension guide and begin ascension work!

  • Develop a language with your ascension guide to interpret your ascension journeys

  • Understand sovereignty and how to use ascension work as a tool to achieve sovereignty

Pre-requisite: Shamanic Journeying ability. You can obtain this through an independent shamanic journey class or Introduction to Journeying. Introduction to Journeying is an introduction to this beautiful art and provided for those who would like to learn The Ascension Journey in order to do ascension work.

  • Ascension and sovereignty are closely related. Ascension is a tool that can help you step more fully into your sovereignty. Sovereignty is a by-product of ascension work. As you progress on your ascension work and embody more of your own light, you will naturally become more sovereign. As you become more filled with your own light, there is little room for external energies to enter your energy field.

  • Anyone who is experiencing inner or energetic sovereignty challenges such as entanglement with another individual or group. Also, anyone who would like to step more deeply into their own personal power.

  • I’ve done ascension work (15 -30 min for the journey and then additional time to do the healing work or the next steps that surfaced in the journey) for over 5 years and have seen incremental progress over the years - for me, each healing brought a deeper level of sovereignty.

    You may be able to move faster, or it may take more time. The important thing is to just start. This is incredibly profound work that can lead to deep transformation. The best gift you can give yourself and the world is to embody the light of your Highest Self.

    Achieving sovereignty is not a short-term process – it depends on how much of your own power you’ve given away. And I don’t personally think my ascension journeys will end - while I have achieved a high degree of sovereignty, I am still working on a deeper embodiment of my highest self.

  • Absolutely, sovereignty must be maintained – you can easily give up your sovereignty with a vow or an agreement. Understanding how you have given up your power in the past may help you ensure you don’t do it again.
